The theme is deconstruction. The idea of
deconstructing an object right down to the parts is an interesting, innovating
concept. The aim of the game is to make items better for the advanced future,
and this will be determined by how much the item is sold for. Example, you are
given a bike to destroy and redesign. You can sell the parts that you don’t
want and use the money to buy newer materials. The goal is to recreate the
object better than it was before. The game will have several levels with harder
things to recreate, whether that be a toilet, wheelchair, wardrobe etc. Jony
Ive inspired this concept as this is whole reason he developed an interest in
how things are made, how they worked in their form and material. The Extropians
principles include improving intelligence through the means of ongoing
improvement, which also heavily inspires this game as the aim to improve the
item for the future.
